3 Tips for Intermittent Fasting

Halloween is coming up and I’m always excited to count how many Halloweens ago that I started intermittent fasting. Yup, of all the days that I started this life style, it was on Halloween of 2018!! I’d be very surprised if I ever go back to any other way of living. It’s about time that I shared some of my insight because the experience that I had when I started intermittent fasting is pretty common.

Food Clutter

Today’s post is really a survey. Sometimes, when I am presented with a survey for something that I want to give positive feedback, my intention is to fill it out when I have time. I don’t ever fill it out because I never have time. Oh the guilt surveys bring us! I feel like I’m always letting someone down whenever I don’t fill one out. Sticky Gift Situations

When I consider writing about a topic for this blog, sometimes I have to check to see if I have already written about it. While I was on the blog ThoughtfulPinch.com, I typed in the keywords “Thank You” and about eight posts came up. The post that I wrote in December 2020 is really good. The Knock on the Door

In 2020 I started the process with nationaldaycalendar.com to have an official day of National Thoughtful Day. One of my efforts was writing a plea in a post for why we should recognize and celebrate the day. The post is entitled Thoughtful Day Top 5. Since this national day is very young, it hasn’t had much recognition and we decided this year, using video to capture a fews things that I did on August 28, 2022 might help inspire more to celebrate the national day.

Short + Sweet Visits

I have felt so honored whenever someone texts or calls me to let me know they are visiting Colorado and they’re thinking of me. Reaching out to me is a thoughtful pinch that I cherish endlessly. Just this past week I was able to see a few out-of-towners, a relative who lives here in Denver and I have another visitor coming up this week. The visits have been short and sweet and still a joy.

Tough Calls

I don’t know if all Virgos are having communication issues like me but something has definitely been in the air these past two weeks. I have had to make some tough calls lately and it sucks. For me, Mrs. “I-Want-Everyone-to-Like-Me”, making these tough calls have been…well, tough.

10 Random Things I'm Grateful For Daily

I started going to another eyebrow gal because my favorite had to move out of state. When this new esthetician saw me again only two weeks after she first waxed my eyebrows, she said, “I feel like I just waxed your eyebrows.” I complained to her that I will be getting my eyebrows waxed every two weeks because they grow so quickly. To that she replied, “Hey, be grateful that you can grow hair because it’s easy to remove but hard to grow.” I realized just then that having fast growing brows is something random to be grateful for.
