It’s the very last day of December and I’m looking at a section in the mudroom. For those who don’t need a mudroom in your home - consider yourself lucky. Our mudroom is the space between our garage and our kitchen and in the winter, we hang all sorts of jackets and we stuff our hats, gloves and scarfs in rows of drawers. You can find boots under benches which are there to sit on while you put on said items. This same room is where we keep our washer and dryer and there is also a sink and a hamper.

I’m pretty proud of myself. Last week I shipped all of the holiday gifts to our out-of-state friends and family. This is a first for me because I’m usually scrambling for gifts and then standing in long lines at the post office on multiple trips, sweating. I found a way to beat the post office sweat and actually enjoy the shipping process of our gifts.

While Jay-Jay was coming on board as a thoughtfulness curator, Thoughtful Pinch as a company, was starting to grow and has been picking up momentum. My daughter knew my friend Wendy was famous even before she actually became famous. I’ve known Wendy for years and so when my daughter would see her name or hear me talking about her, she would say, “Oh, she’s famous!” I never corrected my daughter when she would say this but I think she was mixing up Wendy with Reese Witherspoon. Which in her defense, is very easy to do! Both of them are adorable and both are savvy business women!
