"H" Pincher

Well, guess who’s back (again) pushing her agenda. I can’t help myself. I just know that somewhere out there a person is comparing themselves to someone who is amazing at showing thoughtfulness. This person is feeling inadequate about the way they show their thoughtfulness and wishes they were kicking butt too. I feel this way every single time I go on Pinterest. If only everyone knew that there are at least 10 styles (probably more) of thoughtfulness. Every person, no matter what, is thoughtful, we all just show it differently.

"Makegood"

Back in my advertising days, the term “makegood” was frequently used by media buying departments all over the country. Basically, my job as a media buyer was to purchase air time for my clients so that their advertising commercials would run on TV or radio stations at specific times on scheduled dates. If one of my client’s “spots” (a.k.a. commercials) was not going to air as planned, the station had to “make it good” by airing it at another time/day. The value of that “makegood” needed to be the same or better than the value of what was originally planned.

National Scavenger Hunt Day

I recently went to Nashville, the new Vegas (Nashvegas), and I quickly learned why it’s a popular destination. It’s a haven for hosting bachelor(ette) parties or celebrating milestone birthdays. Seeing the bride-to-be’s and their entourages reminded me of the days that I too, was one of the girls showing up in a herd contributing to the memories of the last days of freedom for my girlfriend(s). I wondered if any of the bachelors, bachelorettes, 21st, 30th , 40th or 50th birthday celebrants were on a Nashville scavenger hunt?
