I’ve mentioned many times on social media that my cousin Jay-Jay is extremely thoughtful. I tap into her for many things relating to Thoughtful Pinches and lately I’ve been feeling like such a dope! Jay-Jay has been specifically showing her thoughtfulness for years but I didn’t pick up on her technique until recently. Now that I am aware of it, I feel like she should be writing this blog - not me! The following is what I affectionately call the “Jay-Jay Way” :
I don’t think wrinkles suck. Two exceptions for that statement would be when the wrinkles are not supposed to be part of my outfit and on an official, original document. Otherwise, I am totally fine with wrinkles. I’m sure some of you are thinking that I should wait until I’m older before I go around declaring that I’m fine with wrinkles on my face. But I’m here to say for sure, 100%, that I won’t ever change my mind about wrinkles on my face.
My posse is a bunch of women who are easily 9-15 years younger than me and that’s because I had my children later in life. The current connections I have with my girlfriends began when I became a mother of two. With that said, I’m one of those old timers that could be overheard saying, “Back in my day, I celebrated my 40th birthday by ordering Chinese take out and inviting 20 friends over to my house to drink and celebrate.” Nowadays, gals that turn forty go on a 10 day trip to Mexico or spend the weekend in Nashvegas (that’s Nashville ya’ll).
I know what you're thinking. You thought this was a respectable blog and now this title has you wondering WTF?
