I’m really feeling the effects of this year’s late Thanksgiving. People are skipping right over this holiday and they are already getting Christmas trees. Even my kids have been pleading for me to get our tree now - sharing some statistic that claims, “Those who get their Christmas trees early are happier people.” Well, I prefer to be unhappy thank you very much. I will wait until Black Friday.
Mistakes can be good for business. I hear this a lot. They may be blowing smoke up my a^%, but anyone who is successful in business will always say that mistakes, bumps in the road, detours, life lessons, etc. - are all necessary. “Mistakes make us stronger.” It’s a cliche that is often used but even though I appreciate the saying, no one wants to make mistakes.
So many of us struggle to write in a card when we want to let someone know that we’re thinking of them. Maybe we want to mark an occasion, soothe a sadness, congratulate, encourage etc. Because I am someone who talks a lot, this isn’t a problem for me. When I write to people, I just have a one way conversation. However, as easy as it is for me, I do know that the struggle to write in a card is REAL.
If it’s nacho cheese, whose cheese is it? It’s all mine!! I know you may not believe this but there really is a national day set aside for Nachos Day! Mark it on the calendar - National Nachos Day is on November 6th! In case you need a refresher, in its simplest form, Nachos is a dish that consists of tortilla chips and nacho cheese (a.k.a melted cheese).
