National Houseplant Appreciation Day

Gosh I love learning about national days! I like finding out how thoughtful the founders of national days are and I like that most of the days enhance joy. I clicked on the link for National Houseplant Appreciation Day on the website Nationaldaycalendar.com because I was curious about the story behind this day. I am glad that I did because it confirmed a lot of what I already knew but opened my eyes to other tidbits of information.

Halloween Spirit

These past two weeks, as I walk the dogs thru the hood, I’ve been loving the decorations that the neighbors are displaying in anticipation for Halloween. To celebrate the upcoming holiday, some front yards are decorated scary. Some are cute. Some are both scary and cute which is confusing but still awesome. I see blow up Draculas and ghosts and skeletons galore. It’s quite charming to see everyone getting into the spirit for this candy-filled holiday.

Food Clutter

Today’s post is really a survey. Sometimes, when I am presented with a survey for something that I want to give positive feedback, my intention is to fill it out when I have time. I don’t ever fill it out because I never have time. Oh the guilt surveys bring us! I feel like I’m always letting someone down whenever I don’t fill one out. And yet here I am expecting you to fill out my survey below.
